Just Ducky
On our last morning in the Tetons, the NXNW crew found ourselves back at Schwabachers Landing, one of the iconic locations for photography in Grand Teton National Park. Our time was somewhat abbreviated this final morning; some of the guys had to hit the road early for a nine hour drive to Denver to catch flights home. But we made the most of it. We arrived well before dawn and shot for an hour or so after the sun rose.
Those of us with really long lenses trained them on a few ducks that were flitting about beaver pond. A couple of them did some nice takeoffs and landings on the water, and there was a mother duck and her ducklings that we tracked for a while.
I’m happy with many of the images I grabbed that morning.
