Isles of Shoals
Another image from Saturday’s flight with my friend, George Walk.
The Isles of Shoals are a small group of islands and tidal ledges that sit about six miles off the coast of New England. Left to right, you are looking at Star Island, Cedar Island, Smuttynose Island (all connected by land bridges) and Appledore Island. The islands actually straddle the border of New Hampshire and Maine. Star Island is located in New Hampshire. The others in Maine.
The image above was taken from northeast of the islands as we circled them. Below is a shot from the west side as we approached.
Bonus fact: One of my clients and my favorite brewery, Smuttynose Brewing, takes its name from Smuttynose Island. Be sure to try their Shoals Pale Ale.

Great shots Bob, looks like a great tour of the coast, perfect day too
