Reflections


There were probably a dozen people who stopped to watch sunset at Snake River Bend this particular night. All were photographers. Some with the tell-tale tripod and big glass, others with the ubiquitous tablets and smartphones. All of us in complete awe of the constant shifting hues.

One guy (with iPhone) equated the show with the second coming of Jesus Christ. His cries of “Sweet Baby Jesus, coming down from heaven!” delighted the crowd.

I also heard someone say, “Look at the reflection!”

I did. Then shifted my frame.
