Golden Light on Cherry Pond
This past Sunday was my first visit to Cherry Pond, but it definitely won’t be my last. Cherry Pond is a 100 Acre pond that sits a little north of Mt Washington and the Presidential Range in Whitfield, NH. It is accessible via a very flat, 1.6 mile long trail. It is a wonderful tapestry for landscape and wildlife photography.
Weather conditions pointed to a good sunset — clouds were clearing as an earlier storm moved to the south. It came mostly to fruition, but the Presidential Range was still covered by a thick, stubborn, bank of clouds (right in the frame). Still, it was great.
This is the first of several images I captured.
