Day24: Mic Drop
I had another shot in my camera today. I rushed home, eager to process it and very anxious to post it. But it was not to be. One i uploaded it I was unhappy with it. It was probably “good enough” for this series. While i try to do my best with the time constraint, not every shot is going to be high art. I nixed the shot because I can go back and make some exposure adjustments so I can get the shot I envisioned.
So with Plan A thwarted, I turned to Plan B: objects in my home. This object is an antique microphone. It was salvaged from a fallout shelter I had the pleasure to visit in Springfield, MA many years ago.
Thankfully, my visit wasn’t due to a nuclear disaster. Unfortunately, it was also for a photographic adventure.
If I can find the other relic I grabbed from that place, I’ll photograph it and elaborate further. Until then I’ll leave you to wonder.
What is this, some kind of series?
Yes, it is! Throughout 2017 I’m attempting to take a new image every day and post it to this blog. Ambitious, I know. Success is not guaranteed, but I’ll give it my all. You can see all of the images below. Just click on a thumbnail and flip through them.
