This Old House … is probably the most photographed house in Newburyport, MA. I’ve photographed it before and while heading out to Plum Island, I decided to stop again. Problem was, I pretty much grabbed shots that were way too similar to my previous shots. So, on my way back I decided to stop again. I drove a little past the house and stopped in the parking lot of an ice cream state (closed for the season). I crossed the street and walked a little ways into the marsh that abuts the abandoned house. I had grabbed a couple of frames before noticing the fenceposts (I assume fenceposts). I thought they would balance the house in the frame nicely.
What is this, some kind of series?
Yes, it is! Throughout 2017 I’m attempting to take a new image every day and post it to this blog. Ambitious, I know. Success is not guaranteed, but I’ll give it my all. You can see all of the images below. Just click on a thumbnail and flip through them.
