Day 135: Clock and Duck
Today was a very busy day. A real estate shoot in the morning, one in the afternoon and the start of a new project in between. Todays image is from the new project.
The new project has me following in photographs the renovation of the Washington Mill, one of the last really raw mill buildings in the city. It has been sitting vacant on the Merrimack River for over 20 years. Over the next 18 months or so, the building will be transformed into beautiful residential and commercial space. I’ll be visiting the site for a couple of hours every couple weeks to document construction progress for the property owners. The images will be used for their marketing and social media.
This image is not OF the building. It is FROM the building. Washington Mill is located directly across the river from the Ayer Mill and it’s iconic clock tower. I got this shot from the 6th floor of the Washington Mill.
What is this, some kind of series?
Yes, it is! Throughout 2017 I’m attempting to take a new image every day and post it to this blog. Ambitious, I know. Success is not guaranteed, but I’ll give it my all. You can see all of the images below. Just click on a thumbnail and flip through them.
