After work today I went on a short photo walk along Fort Point Channel in Boston. With the late afternoon sun obscured by the flat gray cloud cover, I was less than motivated, but did manage to grab an image or two that would be OK for this post, even though I wasn’t thrilled with them.
When I saw this guy walking towards me I quickly tried to grab one more frame. The problem was I didn’t have time to check my settings since my previous shot. I was shooting in aperture priority, stopped down to f/11, which was fine outside of this little walkway. But under the overhang f/11 gave me a half second exposure.
Assuming it was a bust, I didn’t even look at the image on my camera’s display. But once I downloaded it, I thought I might have something to work with.
What is this, some kind of series?
Yes, it is! Throughout 2017 I’m attempting to take a new image every day and post it to this blog. Ambitious, I know. Success is not guaranteed, but I’ll give it my all. You can see all of the images below. Just click on a thumbnail and flip through them.
