Day 155: Searles’ Chapel
Methuen, the city I’ve called home for the past 30 years has some absolutely gorgeous architecture. One such piece is the private chapel of Edward F. Searles, one of the city’s benefactors. His estate is now home to Presentation of Mary Academy, a private Catholic High School. The Sisters who run the school open its property for public viewing every few years. I have yer to go on a tour. Next Time. For sure.
Still, you can see the exterior walls and get glimpses of the buildings from the street and Graycourt Park where I grabbed this image.
What is this, some kind of series?
Yes, it is! Throughout 2017 I’m attempting to take a new image every day and post it to this blog. Ambitious, I know. Success is not guaranteed, but I’ll give it my all. You can see all of the images below. Just click on a thumbnail and flip through them.
