This is my attempt to redeem myself after last night’s last minute, very weak effort to grab a daily image. To recap, I failed to get an image early in the day and I was out late with a former coworker — until after 11:00pm. I got home around 11:45 with no image and only minutes to spare. Just to meet the challenge I photographed the digital clock on the back of my stove.
Weak. I know.
Today’s image could have very easily been similar. I worked all day and met my wife for dinner right after. No image. My wife suggested I pop out to the deck at the restaurant, which sits on the bank of the Merrimack River, to get my image. I took her advice.
I can’t say it is my strongest image in this Daily Series, but unlike last night’s image it is an attempt to do something creative with an otherwise mundane scene. I call that a win.
What is this, some kind of series?
Yes, it is! Throughout 2017 I’m attempting to take a new image every day and post it to this blog. Ambitious, I know. Success is not guaranteed, but I’ll give it my all. You can see all of the images below. Just click on a thumbnail and flip through them.
