Along the Middle Prong Trail

In Great Smoky Mountains, landscape, Travelby Robert Lussier1 Comment

The Middle Prong Trail, fittingly, hugs the Middle Prong of Little River in Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We only hiked a small portion of the 4 mile (I think) long trail. Most of that stretch was well above the river bed, giving us almost aerial views of the river. Including this view, early in the hike.

What isn’t seen in the image is the bench, placed there for people to stop, sit, and enjoy this view.
