Goblin Valley Dawn

Of all of the amazing places we visited on the trip, and all the incredible landscapes we saw, Goblin Valley State Park, outside of Hanksville, Utah, had to be the strangest and most interesting.

The valley floor is inhabited by hundreds of Hoodoos. We spent sunset one night and following day’s sunrise walking among these odd sandstone creatures that presented endless compositional opportunities.

This was my favorite from the morning shoot.
